AMD 5GHz Microprocessor(CPU) | World's First 5GHz CPU | Gaming FX 9590

AMD 5GHz CPU

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) announced "AMD FX-9590" and "AMD FX-9370, World's first commercial 5GHz and 4.7GHz CPU for PC's.

The eight-core FX-9590 will debut in destop PC's this summer. It probably won't come cheap and it consume amount of power at 220 Watts.

At E3, AMD demonstrated why is at the core of gaming," Bernd Lienhard said "The new FX 5GHz processor is an emphatic performance statement to the most demanding gamers seeking ultra-high resolution experiences, including AMD Eyefinity technology. This is another proud innovation for AMD in delivering the world’s first commercially available 5 GHz processor.”

As these are enthusiast chips, overclocking will also be a significant factor - the top Ivy Bridge and Haswell (Intel i7 4000 series) can both overclock about 15% over stock speeds ; it's unknown whether there will be similar overclocking headroom left in AMDs latest. If these chips can hit 5.7GHz, and if doing so does not raise power draw to utterly intolerable levels, these chips won't be disadvantaged - however that is a very big if.

In the end, it's hard to see Richland making a big change to the market this year. AMD's big chance should come when it releases a new architecture, known as Kaveri, planned to start manufacturing late this year, with the first systems in early 2014. This introduces an updated CPU core architecture known as "Steamroller," which should offer an improvement in raw CPU horsepower, and what AMD is calling heterogeneous Uniform Memory Access (hUMA), which should allow the CPU and GPU units to work together more closely.

Nokia Windows 8 Tablet Coming Soon | Review Features, Specifications, Price

Nokia Windows 8 Tablet specifications, Price
Nokia will release Windows 8 10-inch display tablet. There was a time, when Nokia was the most trusted mobile phone brand, but this went down severely with the inception of the iPhone and Android. Nokia decided to join hands with Microsoft to rectify this drop in market demand.

Here enters the Lumia series of phones. They were critically lauded for their smooth interface and premium build quality. But the initial Lumia 800s and Lumia 900s seem to be only a warm up for what is coming in the future by Nokia. Windows Phone 8 OS was recently shown off, and will be featured in upcoming Lumia Smartphones. This is expected, but the Finnish Company is also going a separate route. We will reportedly be seeing a Nokia Windows 8 Tablet pretty soon.

Samsung galaxy tab 3 | leaked image | expected MWC 2013 release

Samsung galaxy tab 3 leaked image

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 pictures have leaked online ahead of the third-generation tablet's expected MWC 2013 Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 release date.
The images appeared on PhoneArena yesterday morning, sparking renewed rumors that Samsung is preparing to unveil their third generations of Galaxy tablets at the upcoming gadget convention, called the Mobile World Congress, which starts on February 25. Previous rumors had a Galaxy Tab 3 coming in two flavors, a 7 inch and a 10.1 inch model. These would be successors to the mid-market Galaxy Tab 2, coming in the same size, but with beefed-up specs.

The photos show off the enigmatic slate boxed, “confirming” the new branding – Samsung Galaxy Tab 3. We can even spot the beginning of the model number (GT-P), but unfortunately the subsequent numbers are obscured, so there’s no way to tell if it’s the GT-P3200 (aka Galaxy Tab 3 7.0), the GT-P5200 (Galaxy Tab 3 10.1) or the GT-P8200 (Galaxy Tab 3 Plus).

The Galaxy Tab 3 is said to come in two different sizes, that is, 7″ and 10″ models, but then it has been discovered that the 7” model could very well have been removed from the pipeline. Well, one thing’s for sure, we will not be able to have the full picture until Samsung themselves step forward with an official word on the issue. Thing is, what you see here are leaked images of the Galaxy Tab 3 in their blurry glory, so take them in before it is officially unveiled at most probably, Mobile World Congress that is happening next month in Barcelona, Spain.

Although an confirmed Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 specs have yet to be revealed, it is expected that a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 release date will be officially unveiled next month during the Barcelona based MWC 2013 conference. Latest Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 rumours have seen the iPad mini rival tipped to host a 5-megapixel camera as well as Wi-Fi and 3G iterations.

Samsung T9000 Android OS based Refrigerator | CES 2013 Video | Review Features

Samsung T9000 Android based Refrigerator

Samsung electronics ltd. bring some technology to gadgets like Refrigerators. The new Samsung T9000 Refrigerator which can run calender, wheather app and connects with most popular Evernote android app.

The Samsung T9000 Refrigerator comes with a large LCD display running the Android operating system. However, it cannot be used to install generic Android apps so you won’t be able to play Angry Birds on your Refrigerator. However, it comes with a range of pre-installed apps that deliver useful services.

Perhaps the most interesting thing is the support for Evernote, the popular note taking and sharing app for iOS and Android OS. Evernote enables you to create notes, complete with web clips, photos, URLs, images, movies and so on, and sync them with any other device running Evernote. This, presumably, will now include your Refrigerator.

The T9000 is a pretty high-class fridge to boot, it has four compartments: two for a fridge, and one for a freezer. The final compartment can be configured to act as either a fridge, or a freezer.
The T9000 is expected to launch in Spring and Samsung says it will cost somewhere in the region of US$4,000

This seems like rather a lot to spend on a fridge to us, perhaps a better option would be to use a regular Refrigerator and an iPad or other Android console running Evernote. But technological change has to start somewhere, and maybe one day lower cost kitchen devices will also come with LCD displays.

Top 10 Affordable Windows 8 Laptops | Review Price And Features

1. SONY E SERIES
SONY E SERIES LAPTOPS

Sony doesn’t often make an appearance in the sub-£600 category, but this E Series laptop is a welcome exception. It’s big and heavy – 2.7Kg is a lot even for a model with a 15.5-inch screen – so it’ll probably spend most of its time indoors. However, its chunky, curvy design certainly stands out from the crowd and even has a kind of retro charm. Performance is good too, with the latest Ivy Bridge version of Intel’s i3 processor running at a healthy 2.5GHz. That’s good for the price, and you get a large 750GB hard disk too, along with 4GB of memory.

Key features: 2.7Kg weight, 15.5-inch screen, i3 running at 2.5GHz, 750GB hard disk

Perfect for: entertainment and web browsing at home – but not in your backpack.

Price: £529.00 / $690.00 / Rs. 37,500/-

2. SAMSUNG NP355
SAMSUNG NP355 LAPTOP

It’s not the most elegant laptop we’ve ever seen, and a weight of 2.5Kg means that it’s primarily intended for use at home rather than being carried around in a backpack. However, the NP355 provides a powerful quad-core AMD A8 processor running at 1.8GHz for just £399.99. That’s a lot of bang for your buck, and it also includes a healthy 6GB of memory, a full 1TB hard disk and an attractive 15.6-inch screen. That makes it a good low-cost option for demanding tasks such as photo- or video-editing.

Key features: quad-core processor, 6GB memory, 1TB hard disk

Perfect for: people who need a powerful laptop mainly for use at home or in the office

Price: £399.99 / $522.47  / Rs. 28350/-

3. ASUS X501
ASUS X501 LAPTOP

I really liked the original X501 that came out earlier this year, and were pleased to see that it’s now been updated for Windows 8. The X501 is very much aimed at students who need an affordable laptop – in fact, this is by far the cheapest Windows 8 laptop we’ve seen so far. The 15.6-inch screen isn’t touch-sensitive, but the X501 is solidly built and rugged enough to lug around in your backpack. The processor’s a bit basic – an AMD C-60 running at just 1GHz – and you only get 2GB of memory and 320GB hard disk, but it’s still pretty good for the price.

Key features: sturdy design, 15.6 inch screen, 1GHz processor

Perfect for: students trying to keep their overdraft under control

Price: £279.99 / $365.77  / Rs. 19850/-

4. TOSHIBA SATELLITE C875
TOSHIBA SATELLITE C875 LAPTOP

When I’m looking for a large-screen laptop for watching video I tend to turn to Toshiba, as their expertise with high-def TVs ensures that their laptops always have really nice screens. The C875 has a full 17.3- inch screen that is great for watching films and TV. Admittedly, the Pentium processor isn’t exactly state of the art, but it runs at 2.2GHz so you’ve got plenty of horsepower for tasks such as video-editing that will also benefit from that big screen. You also get plenty of storage, with 8GB of memory and 750GB hard disk – but it weighs a hefty 2.7Kg so don’t expect to carry it around in your backpack.

Key features: 17.3-inch screen, 2.7Kg weight, 2.2GHz processor, 8GB memory

Perfect for: watching or editing video, and as part of a home entertainment system

Price: £430.00 / $562.00  / Rs. 30500/-

5. LENOVO U410
LENOVO U410 LAPTOP

The U410 has had a bit of a facelift for this new Windows 8 model. The candy-coloured laptop that was originally designed ‘for the girls’ has been replaced by a smart, silvery MacBook clone (the coloured ones are still available with Windows 7). Prices start at £599.99 for a model with a 14-inch screen and an Intel i3 processor running at 1.8GHz, 4GB of memory and 500GB hard disk. That’s fast enough for most routine computer work, and the 14-inch screen keeps the weight down to 1.8Kg so you can carry it around in a backpack quite easily.

Key features: 1.8Kg weight, i3 running at 1.8GHz, 14-inch screen

Perfect for: aimed at students, but a good option for anyone that wants a lightweight 14-inch laptop

Price: £599.99 / $783.71  / Rs. 42,500/-

6. HP PAVILION G6
HP PAVILION G6 LAPTOP

The G6 has always been HP’s affordable ‘everyday’ laptop, so it’s a good choice for anyone on a tight budget. There’s nothing fancy about the G6 – it doesn’t have a touch-sensitive screen or the latest Ivy Bridge processors from Intel – but it has an attractive 15.6-inch screen and a very respectable specification for its sub-£500 price tag. The cheapest model starts at around £399, but we reckon the sweet-spot is the £449 model that has an i3 processor running at a healthy 2.4GHz, 4GB of memory and a large 750GB hard disk. HP is even throwing in a free carrying case and spare mouse at the moment too.

Key features: 15.6-inch screen, i3 running at 2.4GHz, 750GB hard disk

Perfect for: people with large collections of music, photos and video

Price: £449.00 / $586.49 / Rs. 32,000/-

7. ASUS VIVOBOOK S200
ASUS VIVOBOOK S200 LAPTOP

The VivoBook is clearly inspired by Apple’s MacBook Air, having a similar metallic design and ultra-compact 11.6-inch screen that weighs in at just 1.3kg. However, it’s quite a bit cheaper than the MacBook Air, coming in at around £450 and also including a touch-sensitive screen for the tiled interface of Windows 8. The i3 processor only runs at 1.4GHz, but that’s fine for routine tasks such as email and browsing the web, and you get 4GB of memory and 500GB hard disk too.

Key features: 11.6-inch touch-sensitive screen, 1.3kg weight, i3 processor running at 1.4GHz

Perfect for: fashionistas who want a bijou little laptop for their handbag or man-bag

Price: £449.00 / $586.49  / Rs. 32,000

8. HP ENVY 6 SLEEKBOOK
HP ENVY 6 SLEEKBOOK LAPTOP

HP isn’t allowed to call this an ‘Ultrabook’ as that’s an Intel trademark and the Sleekbook actually has an AMD processor inside it rather than an Intel chip. It’s as slim as an Ultrabook, though, measuring just 19.8mm thick, and at 2.1kg it’s a lot lighter than most laptops that have a 15.6-inch screen. Prices start at just £479.99 for a model with an A6 processor running at 2.1GHz, 4GB of memory and 500GB hard disk, but you can bump the memory up to 8GB and still come in at around £550. The screen’s not touch-sensitive, though.

Key features: 19.8mm thick, 15.6-inch screen, 2.1GHz processor

Perfect for: people who want a large screen and plenty of power

Price: £479.99 / $626.99  / Rs. 34,000/-

9. DELL INSPIRON 15Z
DELL INSPIRON 15Z LAPTOP

Dell’s Inspiron 15z is a very smart-looking laptop that provides enough power for business users while still being affordable enough for home users. The solidly built unit houses a bright and attractive 15.6-inch screen – not touch-sensitive in this £559 model, although there is a touch-sensitive version available for around £800. It sports the latest Ivy Bridge version of Intel’s i3 processor running at 1.8GHz, which is more than fast enough for most day-to-day computing tasks, and for another £50 quid you can step up to a more powerful i5 processor too.

Key features: good build quality, i3 running at 1.8GHz, 4GB memory, 500GB hard disk

Perfect for: a good workhorse of a laptop for both home and business users

Price: £559.00 / $730.00  / Rs. 39,500/-

10. ACER ASPIRE V5-571P TOUCH
ACER ASPIRE V5-571P TOUCH LAPTOP

There aren’t many laptops in this price range that have a proper touch-sensitive screen, but the Aspire V5 manages to squeeze one in for well under £600. However, you do have to trade a bit of processor power for the touch-screen controls, as the Intel i3 chip inside the V5 only runs at a modest 1.4GHz. Even so, that should still be fine for browsing the web and running software such as Microsoft Office, and the 4GB of memory and 500GB hard disk provide room for all your music, photos and videos.

Key features: touch-sensitive 15.6-inch screen, i3 running at 1.4GHz, 500GB hard disk

Perfect for: casual users who just want to do a bit of email and web browsing

Price: £549.00 / $699.00 / Rs. 38,900/-

Microsoft Corp. release upgraded gaming console i.e. Xbox 720 console next year in 2013. According to Bloomberg sources reportedly "familiar with the company's plans", who said Microsoft is planning to capitalise on Thanksgiving and Christmas sales.
"The console gaming experience is about delivering something that's way out past the bleeding edge and subsidising it through the software royalty model - just like Apple does with the phones. It's not that much different."
"The next-generation will be here soon, a couple of years," said John Carmack, the man behind Doom and Quake, of the Xbox 720. "It'll be another ten times as powerful as this generation. I'd be surprised if that doesn't last over a decade before people wind up saying, well, we've really tapped out everything you could possibly do on there."
More than a simple gamer, the Xbox 720 is said to be heading to release alongside the second-generation iteration of Microsoft’s industry leading controller-free motion gaming peripheral with some reports going as far as to suggest the Xbox 720 will launch with the Kinect 2 built in.

The screen heavy Xbox 720 rumour, which landed courtesy of a report in Xbox World Magazine, offered a tantalising insight into the next-gen console with the touted display packing controller to offer improved input options for the "media hub" console.

Xbox World used its penultimate issue to publish an eight-page feature containing 'everything the mag knows' about Microsoft's next-gen console plans.
It claimed that the next gen Xbox - which it speculated is likely to simply be called "Xbox" - will introduce Kinect 2.0, use Blu-ray discs, and feature directional audio, a TV output AND input, an 'innovative controller' and - at a later stage of the console's life - AR glasses.
Current codename 'Durango' dev kits boast a CPU with "four hardware cores, each divided into four logical cores" and an impressive 8GB of RAM.
