Samsung updates the Galaxy lineup with the release of Galaxy Advance S




Samsung Galaxy is on the roll.And now comes the Galaxy Advance S.As far the specification goes it has quite a handful.

It  resembles Samsung Galaxy Nexus, adopting its curved design. It boasts of a 4-inch  super AMOLED display akin to most Galaxy phones. It provides a storage space of 16GB, powered by  1Ghz ARMv7 dual core processor and and a Mali-400 MP GPU.

On the connectivity front, it supports HSPA connections at speeds of up to 14.4 Mbps. It comes with a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash, shooting 720p videos, along with a 1.3 MP camera on the front. It would also have 3.5mm audio jack and the micro USB port and a 1500mAh battery.
It will ship with Android 2.3( Gingerbread) with enhanced TouchWiz UI, alongwith a suite of Samsung apps. We  hope  that a Android 4.0(Ice Cream Sandwich) update comes through in the near future.

There has been no word on its pricing but Samsung plans to release this phones all over the world, starting with Russia next month and subsequently Europe, Africa, Middle East, and other parts of the world.
