With the Galaxy approaching its first birthday, word on the street says
its successor will come with a quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, a 4.6
inch screen and 12 MP camera Expect an unveiling at the end of February.
Display and Touch Screen
Galaxy S3 has a 4.8 inch long super AMOLED HD plus touchscreen. The
screen also support multi-touch function and it can display up to 16
million colors. The resolution of the screen is 720 x 1280 pixels.
Network and Connectivity
S3 support 3G and 2G both networks. The phone can be connected to
computer by PC Sync and USB. It has Wi-Fi connctivity and GPS also. New
TV-out jack also has been provided in this phone.
Memory, Storage Capacity and Power
Galaxy S3 comes with a 1 GB RAM and it can support up to 64 GB of
external storage. A micro-SD card slot has been given for external
storage. Phone will have a standard Li-Ion battery of more than 1600
mAh. Galaxy S3 comes in 3 types having the internal memory of 16GB /
32GB and 64GB.
Camera and Other Multimedia Details
Camera feature has not been upgraded in comparison to S2. In galaxy
s3 also a 8.0 mega-pixels primary camera has been provided, which has
features like auto-focus, touch-focus, digital zoom etc. You may click
very detailed pictures from this camera. A secondary camera of 1.9
mega-pixels for video calling has also been given. The secondary camera
of Galaxy S3 gives video output at 720p and 30 fps.
Processor, Operating System and Applications
Galaxy S3 comes with a new generation 1.4 Ghz Quad core processor to
speed it up. Now using touch will be more faster with this processor.
Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 OS is used in the phone. This phone
supports Java applications and You’ll also love smashing pigs by angry
birds in this phone.
Samsung Galaxy S3 Price in India
Earlier there were some rumours that this phone will be launched in
MWC but it may take some time to unveil this phone. *Now the Samsung Galaxy S3 has been launched.
It is very difficult to tell the exact price of this phone in Indian
market but it is expected that the price of this phone will be
approximately Rs. 41,599/- (600 EUR).
