Japanese Display Inc. announced 5.4-inch smartphone display with resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and 543 ppi pixel density. Just after announcement of 4K resolution ( 3840 x 2160 pixels ) in a 12.1-inch tablet display with a 365 ppi pixel density.

The display is impressively crystal clear, great for tablet and high-end smartphone users, actually Japan Display Inc. announced two displays with same resolution 1440 x 2560 pixels: 5.4-inch with 543ppi and 6.2-inch LCD display with 473 ppi.

However, todays smartphone like Galaxy S4 with 5-inch full HD display offering 441 ppi pixel density.

Japan Display Inc. uses low temperature poly silicon technology which consume low power and extend battery life. Possibility of which company get this technology first, pointing towards the Sony a Japan based company and partner of Japan Display Inc.

Samsung Galaxy Gear Smartwatch | Image and Specification Leaked | Launch Date

Samsung might planning to unveiled their Galaxy Gear SmartWatch, but here images of galaxy gear smartwatch has been spotted and its specifications too. Samsung has confirmed, they will launch their prototype officially on September 4th in Berlin.

Leaked image is posted by Venture Beat, it claims that the images are from Galaxy Gear promo video ( unofficial ) that recorded by an independent team which is working closely with Samsung.

However, the leaked specs of the Samsung's Galaxy Gear smartwatch will have a 1.5 GHz Dual-Core Exynos 4212 processor along with Mali-400 graphic processor. This have a 2.5-inch high-quality OLED display at resolution of 320 x 320 pixels. Additional features includes a in-build 6/8 GB internal storage capacity with 1 GB of RAM, a 4 MP camera that can record 720p HD video. Other features, it have a in-build battery which is last up to 10 hrs of backup on a single charge. It also have a Bluetooth v4.0, in-built speakers.
