Nokia’s Lumia 925 smartphone is now official. As most expected, the device is basically a revised version of the Lumia 920 and Lumia 928 with improvements in several categories. Most notably, Nokia ditched the polycarbonate shell and replaced it with a more durable (and more attractive) material - aluminum. This is Nokia’s first Windows Phone to arrive inside an aluminum chassis.

The handset is also thinner and lighter than the model before it – nearly 50 grams (or 1.8 ounces) lighter, to be exact. On the outside is a 4.5-inch AMOLED display operating at 1,280 x 768 that’s covered in Gorilla Glass 2 and an 8.7-megapixel OIS camera. The screen features ClearBlack technology as well as a high-brightness mode that would be suitable outdoors.

Nokia’s latest measures in at just 8.8mm thin but the Finnish handset maker had to ditch built-in wireless charging to achieve this. The feature is still possible but users will need to purchase an accessory cover (available in black, white, red and yellow) to enable it. The phone itself is available in white, grey and black.

With the success of Nokia Lumia series, Finnish phone maker Nokia all set to launch a new Smartphone, Nokia Lumia 928 by the end of April. we have already seen photo of this handset and now we have what looks to be an official press image of the Nokia Lumia 928 from Verizon.

According to leaked images published on Friday by Evleaks, who has a solidtrack record when leaking images and details surrounding unannounced smartphones, theNokia Lumia 928 is currently being prepped for launch on the nation’s top carrier.

Nokia Lumia 928 is being touted as the slimmer and lighter version of the currently flagship smartphone Nokia Lumia 920. As per some news reports the Lumia 928 is expected to be 10.2mm thin.

The Nokia Lumia 928 features is rumored to come with a 4.5 inch HD super AMOLED display a resolution of 1280x768 pixels and it come with a dual core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor. Nokia Lumia is expected to come with a 8.7 MP(megapixel) PureView camera with a Xenon flash and LED flash, which record Full HD video @1080p.

Nokia announced two Lumia series smartphone, Lumia 520 and Lumia 720. The Nokia Lumia 520 is the most affordable Windows Phone 8 smartphone, the Nokia Lumia 720, on the other hand, is a feature-rich mid-range smartphone.
