Micromax has launched new android based smartphone i.e. A116-Canvas HD. The device has a 5-inch five touch point HD IPS panel 1280x720 resolution display. The Micromax A116 Canvas HD runs on 1.2 GHz quad-core processor powered by MediaTek's MT6589 and is running Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) OS. The A116 Canvas HD is Micromax's first smartphone with a quad-core processor.
The A116-Canvas HD comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 4X zoom. There is a VGA front camera on-board. Other features of the smartphone include 1GB RAM and 4GB of internal storage, which can be expanded to up to 32GB via microSD card.
