SanDisk iNAND Extreme Drive | High Speed Drive for Bay Trail tablets | Review

SanDisk iNAND Extreme Drive


SanDisk Corporation, a global leader has introduced an enhanced version of iNAND Extreme flash drive, it is optimized to increase storage performance, which is compatible with Intel's Atom Z3000 processors and is also known as 'Bay Trail' for tablets.

SanDisk second-generation of iNAND Extreme drive, to leading mobile device manufaturers for use in Android and Windows tablets for high performance Intel powered Atom Z3000 processors.

Main features iNAND Extreme have :-

  1. It supports eMMC 4.51 HS200 standard.
  2. Sequential maximum transfer speed: read at 150 MB/s and write at 45 MB/s.
  3. Randomly read at 4K and write at 800 IOPS.
  4. Storage capacity from 4 GB to 128 GB supported.

 SanDisk, Strategy analytic expecting more tablet shipment to reach 180 million units by the end of the year.

"Notable advancements at the semiconductor level pave the way for a new generation of tablets thet offer longer battery life, more responsive digital entertainment, and computing experience that is more closely aligned with what was once only possible on a PC."
