Compete with your friends to be the next tennis pro as Mario Tennis Open comes to Nintendo 3DS on 25th May 2012
Nintendo revealed more details last week about the upcoming Mario Tennis™ Open, that will be launched across Europe for the Nintendo 3DS™ system on the 25th May 2012.
The Special Games mode in Mario Tennis Open
lets players hone their tennis skills while enjoying tennis games with a
Mario twist. Players can check out games such as Super Mario Tennis,
which puts a classic Super Mario Bros. twist on tennis drilling. As they
play through familiar game levels, they can use their tennis swing to
stomp Goombas, and Koopas along the way.
There may be a ton of games available in the Angry Birds franchise,
but if you’re a hardcore gamer and have completed all the different
versions, there’s a new one to challenge you now. This one takes place
in outer space and is called Angry Birds Space.
Like all devices, Microsoft’s gaming console, the Xbox is due for a
refresh and the game of speculation has begun with analysts and fans
wondering just what the Redmond company will have in store for the next
generation device. Today, we have a new rumor regarding this console
which suggest that the new device will transition away from physical
media.
Zynga is a company that is synonymous for its games that are
available through the social networking site Facebook. In fact, Zynga
and Facebook have a symbiotic relationship with each of their successes
relying upon the other.

The Angry Birds franchise has been a very successful series of games for Rovio and it has enjoyed this success for a number of reasons. Not only are the games simple and addictive to play, but the company
has made them available on as many different platforms as possible,
thereby ensuring that users can access the games regardless of what
device or operating system they are using.
Crytek, the designers behind the Crysis sequence of games, are mentioned
to be in the improve stages of building a new social games network
called GFACE that will be capable of some pretty awesome things. In
addition to the features you would expect from any social network, such
as the ability to connect with friends and share your experiences, GFACE
will offer an amazing game streaming service that allows you to team up
with friends and play jointly from a number of different devices.
GFACE brings together the same capabilities you get from the likes of Facebook, Twitter, and Google+,
and punches in a cloud-based game streaming service similar to that
offered by OnLive. But it has some really wonderful features that make
it stand out. Touch Arcade reports:
“It works completely in the browser and lets you do all the sorts of
social things you would be expecting from your Facebook, Google+ or
Twitter – add friends, post about your passions, discover new people,
and plenty more. You can also meet up with people online and enjoy
media-type things with each other, sort of like how you can watch a
movie with friends in an Xbox Live party.”
But here is the best bit: GFACE makes it possible for you to team up
with friends and play games with each other online. So what exactly is
new? Well, the role you play within a game is based upon on the device
you are using. For example, you could be playing a fps on your computer
and you get the identical experience you would from any other
first-person shooter. However, your friend could be enjoying the same
game on an iPhone but in a secondary role, such as air assistance. While
another friend, who has playing on an iPad, turns into the commander
and gets a top-down view of the battlefield.
Both friends then become part of your group in a way that you do not
generally find in first-person shooters. I do not know about you, but I
am really excited about GFACE, despite its unusual name.
While a lot of companies are trying to develop laptops that are smaller and for the normal users, there aren’t many generic manufacturers that focus on gaming.
Most of them come out with ultrabooks or multimedia laptops but rarely those for gaming. MSI on the other hand, which manufactures a wide range of laptops from netbook to high-end rigs, had released a new gaming laptop called the MSI GT783.
First of all, it is a 17-inch monster. That usually explains a few things: the specs on a 17-inch laptop are more often than not a lot better as compared with those of a smaller size. In the case of the GT783, the same could be said as well. It offers a quad-core i7 processor and NVIDIA’s GTX 580MGPU which can easily be said, one of the best in the market.
It also has a 16GB RAM which is a lot more than what most people need. The GT783 has a programmable keyboard backlight system which is definitely something worth looking at.
The price of this monster starts at $2,300 which is anything but a normal price for a laptop. However, for that premium price, the performance of the GT783 is still something worth spending on.
